Typical applications range from right-angle transfer of products, product sorting, 180-degree turns in conveyor systems and many more. The CSD is a very compact module that allows easy integration in nearly any automated conveyor system. The CSD consists of two NDW E-rollers. A motor for driving the flat belts and a single motor for the lift. When the lift is lowered, packages can be transferred with the transport rollers. If a package should make a 90-degree turn, it is stopped on the CSD, the lift is raised between the conveyor-rollers and the flat belts are activated allowing the product to move sideways as shown in the image below.
